Teletherapy

talkLife is unpredictable.

In a few short years, we’ve lost the ability to predict whether the gym, the DMV, or even school would be open.

But we didn’t stop needing healthcare and support.

In fact, we needed it more than ever.

And yet, the last thing we want to do is open another Teams screen…

You already spend too much time with your computer screen.

But this isn’t the same Zoom that someone organised, without an agenda in advance. We will be talking about you- your goals, your challenges, your trauma and triggers. We will deconstruct those anxieties that seem to permeate your days.

If you have cellular coverage and a private place to talk, you can log in – from anywhere.

You decide.

Won’t talking about my problems on video be awkward?

You might be surprised at how quickly you adapt to the video-based environment.

What if it brings up feelings of self-consciousness – or even anxiety?

Simple. Turn your camera off!

You can occasionally do that. It’s okay!

And you can have the best of BOTH worlds!

You don’t have to choose. Telehealth is not an either-or – it’s a both-and.

If you want to combine telehealth with in-person visits at my Mill Valley office, you CAN!

Absolutely.

Ok, so how does it work?

I use a HIPAA-compliant system that’s not only safe but convenient – you can access it from a computer, tablet, or even smartphone.

I’ll send you an email containing the link to your session. Simply click the link to enter the meeting.

But does it work as well as in-person treatment?

Generally, yes.

In some situations, it may even be a better option than traveling to my office.

At other times, you might benefit more from in-person counseling.

Life may be unpredictable access to therapy doesn’t have to be.

I love talking to people who are on the verge of change. Call me (415) 858-9454 for your complimentary 20-minute phone consultation.
